Haitian vegan Fritay and Pikliz

Pikliz Recipe: 

Ingredients

  • Scotch bonnet
  • Cabbbage
  • String beans
  • Shallots

Directions 

Finely chop up equal amounts of) Scotch bonnet pepper,cabbage,string beans, shallots (look like baby onions) and add salt to taste. Place your chopped contents in a jar and then fill it up with vinegar to the top. Let it sit over night outside so that the vinegar can draw out the spices. The next day, place in the fridge. Now you’re good to go!
