2 Detroit Entrepreneurs Team Up to Host the Ultimate Cooking Show Down Party

Everyone thinks their momma is the best cook, right? Well Kwaku, the founder of Black Metro Eats,  wants you to prove it.  Black Metro Eats is a movement dedicated to showcasing Detroit’s Black food culture.

Teaming up with Chuks, the founder of hit event series JerkxJollof, a travelling party celebrating African and Caribbean music, food and culture- they’ve put together a line up of Mommas ready to show off their skills in their unique cooking showdown- Put ya Mama where ya Mouth is!

Here’s how it works, the adults enter the competition and take care of creating a creative display, while their mommas alone take care of the cooking and together they compete to win a cash prize. In this competition the guests are the real winners as they get to party while eating some of the best home cooking Detroit has to offer.
